Anthony Michael Letayf is a senior legal and commercial adviser with over 16 years of experience spanning international law firms and multinational corporations. He advises businesses on commercial, transactional and governance matters across MENA and emerging markets worldwide.
His career began at White & Case LLP in London and Hong Kong, where he advised on some of the world’s most complex infrastructure, energy and capital markets transactions — including a €7.3 billion offshore pipeline financing and multiple $500M+ cross-border debt offerings.
Anthony then built deep in-house expertise across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector, serving as legal lead at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Acino Pharma (PE-backed, where he led a $200M+ portfolio acquisition), Viatris and most recently as Group General Counsel of NMC Healthcare — one of the region’s largest healthcare groups, where he serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and principal legal adviser to the Board.
He is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales, holding a current SRA practising certificate, and is based in Dubai. He operates across the full MENA region and has extensive experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, Turkey, the Levant and South Asia.
Beyond advisory work, Anthony is an angel investor in early-stage businesses across technology, F&B and real estate — giving him a founder’s perspective on the commercial and legal challenges that growing companies face every day.
